Breathing Dirt
Drawing from imagery in Tim Winton’s works, Breathing Dirt is imbued with a sense of the Australian experience and narrative. Breathing Dirt delves into human connection and relationships across time. The characters exist in different ages and stages of life through out the work exploring how relationships change as situations change. The movement language is playful and often reflects movement in nature, particularly through the presence of water motifs reflecting the significance of water and waterways in Tim Winton’s work.
